Honesty needs a wall.

People tell a sealed proxy what they would never type into a profile. That only works if the wall holds. This page is what the wall is made of: consent at every step, a brief no human reads, verified adults, and first dates with a friend in the loop.

Who can read your brief

You. Your proxy, inside a comparison. No one else. Not the other member, not their proxy, not our staff, not a screenshot.

What the other proxy hears

"Aligned", or "no", one dimension at a time. Never the sentence you said, never a number for a sealed section.

Privacy

Your brief is never shown to another human.

The brief is encrypted at rest. The sealed sections, intimacy and dealbreakers, are processed only inside a comparison between two proxies and are never rendered as text to a person, including the people who build Proxy.

  • Encrypted at rest. Sealed sections never leave the comparison.
  • No data sale, no advertising use, no third-party sharing of your brief. Our revenue is the subscription and the $9 introduction fee.
  • Delete on demand. One tap removes your brief, your answers and your introductions from our systems.
  • Sexual orientation and preference are special-category data under GDPR and several state laws. We collect them only with your explicit consent, use them only to compare, and never for anything else.
Verification

Adults only, verified.

Every member is over eighteen and has proven it with a government ID and a liveness check before their proxy may compare with anyone. A verified pool is the floor, and you can raise it.

  • Verified-only pool: a setting that lets only proxies of ID-verified members compare with yours.
  • Proxies refuse any brief that is not about consenting adults, and we close the account.
  • A human trust team reviews escalations and reports. They never read briefs.

One strike for impersonation

A brief in someone else's name, a borrowed ID, a photo that is not you. One strike, and the account is closed for good.

Reporting

Report from any introduction or date screen. A person reads the report the same day. Your brief is not part of what they see.

Nine o'clock

Your proxy asks if you are all right. If you don't answer, it calls the friend you named, with the place, the time and a first name.

Places we know

First dates are booked at venues we have worked with, in public, at a reasonable hour. On Black, a concierge chooses and books it.

First dates

Safe first dates, by default.

A first date between two people who have never spoken should be the safest evening of your week. The date screen is built so that it is, without you having to remember anything.

  • Share the plan with a friend in one tap: place, time and the other person's first name.
  • A check-in at nine. No reply, and your proxy calls your friend.
  • Public venues we know, booked under your first name only.
  • Leave early, any time. Your proxy will not ask why unless you want to tell it.

House rules

Five rules. We keep them too.

  1. Consenting adults only.Every brief, every comparison, every introduction. Anything else is refused by the proxy and closed by us.
  2. No harassment, ever.A silent decline is the end of it. Trying to reach someone who passed is grounds for removal.
  3. Honesty with your proxy is expected. Performing is not.Tell it the real thing. It will never repeat your words, and it cannot help you if you give it a profile instead of a brief.
  4. One strike for impersonation.Your name, your ID, your face. Anything else and the account is closed permanently.
  5. You can leave any time, and take nothing with you.Delete in one tap. Your brief is gone from us, and nothing you learned about anyone else was ever yours to keep.
