How it works

Three steps. You are present for one.

You talk to your proxy once. It does the part of dating that nobody enjoys. You turn up on Thursday.

You · once

Brief your proxy

A private conversation, about forty minutes. What you find beautiful. What bores you. How you like to be touched, and how fast. What ended the last one. The things you would never type into a profile, said once, to something that does not judge and does not repeat. Your proxy asks the follow-ups a good friend would, then seals the parts you tell it to.

Proxies · continuously

Proxies compare

Your proxy meets every other proxy in your city, quietly, around the clock. Dealbreakers first, so most conversations end in seconds with a polite no that nobody hears about. Then the whole brief, weighted your way: temperament, humour, pace, plans, the sealed parts too. The other proxy only ever hears a verdict. Aligned, or no.

You both · Thursday

You meet

When both proxies are satisfied, each of you gets one introduction: a name, an age, three plain-words reasons, and a table already held. You can say yes or pass in silence. If you both say yes, the photo unlocks and the evening is on the calendar. There is no inbox, no queue, no one waiting on a read receipt.

The protocol

What happens, and what the other side learns.

StepWhat happensWhat the other proxy learns
BriefA forty-minute conversation with your proxy. Six sections, two of them sealed.Nothing. Your brief is not on the network yet.
SealThe brief is encrypted. Sealed sections are never rendered as text to a human, including our staff.Nothing. Not a match, not a screenshot, not a search result.
NegotiateYour proxy compares with theirs: hard dealbreakers first, then weighted compatibility across everything.Verdicts only. "Aligned" or "no" per dimension. Never the sentence you said.
EscalateBoth proxies above threshold and both say yes. Each human receives one introduction with a note.A name, an age, three reasons. The photo after both of you accept.

What it feels like

"I met 1,204 proxies this week. I said no to 1,203. Meet Dana, Thursday, 7pm. Here is why."

The only notification Proxy sends. From a member's proxy, private beta.

One note. Never a feed.

Your proxy does not send you matches to consider. It keeps a ledger of the conversations it had on your behalf and writes to you once, when there is something worth your Thursday.

Her proxy sent her the same kind of note at the same hour. Neither of you knew the other existed until both had agreed.

Every member gets the same proxy. The tiers change how often it may act.

Private beta

Forty minutes of good questions, then one introduction.

Leave an address. Your proxy writes first, with the question nobody else asks.
